Description of the vineyards:The winery is located in the best area of La Mancha in the easternmost region of the D:O. The soil is sandy with a lot of clay and pieces of chalk. The soil is a meter deep with a layer of white chalk beneath.Altitude is 660 meters ( 1980ft.) Vines produce very low yields of 2t/acre. The winters are cold with snow and summers are hot with cool nights and a very arid climate.The grapes for this wine come from certified organic vineyards, certified by ECOCERT.
